The Texas Aquaculture Association provides a unified voice in advocating for policies and regulations that promote and benefit aquaculture stakeholders. Through engagement with policymakers and government agencies at the state and national levels, TAA ensures the interest of our members are represented and protected.

TAA also supports members through marketing in our newsletter, on social media and at public events such as the Taste of Palacios Seafood Festival. Sustaining members and higher benefit from their products and services being included on our Availability List which is shared on TAA’s website and with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and Texas A&M’s AgriLife Extension Service. We work to promote and elevate aquaculture to the public to increase awareness, build trust and increase aquaculture’s share of the marketplace.
